Hello all,

I am located in Mwanza, Tanzania, and am working with an NGO through my university called Western Heads East setting up probiotic yoghurt kitchens throughout East Africa. The project goals are to increase the immune systems of HIV/AIDS patients to help them slow the growth of the disease, and help decrease the chances of those without the disease of transferring it.  Additionally, all kitchens are woman run, helping to empower the traditionally lower class gender in this country with the confidence to lead a business.

So far only 4 or 5 kitchens have been set up, but the goal is not vastly increase that number as soon as external financiers can see the viability of the project, and are willing to fund expansion.

I have actually been posting on a different blog site so far, and since my internship is already half, it is easier if I continue that way
