Photos from Tamana

I can’t quite get the internet to agree to upload more pictures so two will have to do for now.  These were both taken in Tamana, the village where I have been doing my field research.

The first is of a woman sifting rice, since it has just been harvested.

The second is of some women transplanting mundia, a grain that has a 20 day growing cycle and is then moved into flooded ponds.

A real post will follow as soon as the internet is up again!
